WORLD: Timothy James Curry was an English actor and singer who amassed more than 240 credits on screen and stage in a career which spanned nearly 60 years. Curry made his acting debut in the West End production of Hair (1968-1969) and gained wide recognition for portraying Dr.
Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show (1973-1975) and its 1975 film adaptation The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He received three Tony nominations for his Broadway performances in Amadeus (1980-1981) as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, My Favorite Year (1992-1993) as Alan Swann, and Spamalot (2005) as King Arthur; and two Olivier nominations for West End productions of The Pirates of Penzance (1982) and Spamalot (2006-2007).
