10 notes per day. Come back tomorrow.
TAMPA, Fla.: Inside the Tampa Convention Center this weekend the crossovers were the point. Star Wars next to wrestlers next to anime. Mitchel Anhalt, who treats the show as an annual ritual, told WFLA the buildup “just gets more and more exciting, with the costumes, the guests, the crazy ideas.”
The City of Tampa published a visitor guide and a traffic advisory covering Sept. 4-6. Downtown hotels were full. WTSP called Sunday the wrap for superheroes.
Labor Day weekend in Tampa Bay also had chalk art and plant bingo on the civic calendar, WUSF noted. The comic show was the one that shut down curb lanes.
Organizers had not posted a final attendance figure by Sunday night. Bay News will add it when the city or the show does.
